If you would like to see Grizzly Bears fishing, playing and interacting within their natural, undisturbed habitat then a bear viewing tour to Bute Inlet with Homalco Wildlife Tours is an adventure tour you should not miss.

Grizzly Bears Everywhere! It is not uncommon for over 35 Grizzly Bears to be within the 7 kilometer stretch of the lower Orford River and it is also not uncommon to see up to 18 bears during a typical tour - some as close as 15 feet away (from a tower of course). Be sure to take your camera, there are photo opportunities around every bend in the river.

ATV Tours

Trained and experienced Homalco First Nation Guides will lead you on an exhilarating ATV adventure tour through historic Homalco First Nations land. You’ll see old-growth rain forest while exploring the mystic First Nations territory. Along the way you’ll discover BC wildlife in natural coastal and river bottom habitat.

A typical ATV adventure tour with Homalco Wildlife Tours will last approximately 3.5 hours and cover an average distance of 30 KM’s while climbing to an average height of 400 Metres (1200 feet). During the tour you may see deer, elk, black bears, grizzly bears, mountain goats, owls, eagles, cougars, lynx, and a variety of water fowl, raptors and smaller animals.
